The Jewish Human Rights Network was launched at the Houses of Parliament on the 14th May 2007.
Lord Goldsmith, the then Attorney General, Louise
Ellman MP and Henry Grunwald, President of the Board of Deputies of British
Jews, all spoke at the launch in support of the Network.
Guests were invited to sign the Declaration on Judaism and Human Rights, which
affirms a commitment to universal human rights based on the Jewish experience.
Support for the Declaration and the Network came from across the Jewish
community.
